Introduction

Welcome to the website of Auckland University Fencing, a fencing sports club based around, but not limited to, students of Auckland University.

Use the Navigation bar at top-right to move through the site. Information about the club's activities can be found in the Info for Beginners and Info for Fencers sections. Details on how to contact and find the club can be found on the contact page. Questions can be also be asked on our forum which is checked regularly by many of our members.

Finally, we have an email list on which is sent club news and information on activities and tournaments.

Happy Summer!

The last week of fencing for 2009 was October 19th and 22nd. We look forward to seeing you in Semester 1, 2010!

As always, keep an eye on the forum for social events, which may be more or less fencing-related.

Club Dinner

The date for the last official event this year has been finalised. The AUF Club Dinner will be held at Thai Classic, 282 Ponsonby Road on Saturday the 17th of October.

AGM Monday 21st September

AUF's Annual General Meeting was held on Monday the 21st of September. Thanks to all who came!

Congratulations to the incoming executive members, who will no doubt be up to speed quickly. My grateful thanks to last year's exec, both those returning with me, and those who have stepped down.

Club T Shirt

After three years hiatus, a great new club t-shirt is available. Images and discussion are on the forum, or you can view the front and back here.

T-shirts costs $20 each, and are available in standard sizes.

The Joy of Fees

Fees for 2009 have been confirmed at $120 for students and $200 for wage-earners. Special rates are available for those who were part of the beginners course.
