New Website Niggles

May I just say that this is the BEST line ever for the upgraded site: -

I'm doing one of my now infrequent drop-ins to the website to see how things are going in the club, and I'd just like to say that I really like the new website design. Hi to all who know me, and keep up the good work.

A couple of small niggles:

- with the dark colour theme for the home page, the club logo disappears against the background. It needs a light panel placed behind it that stays light enough to see the shield.

- the shield (including the one on the home page) always used to be a link to the home page. In the case of the shield on the home page, this was a useful shortcut for reloading the page

- I'm not seeing new (i.e. this) forum entry appear on the "Latest in the Forum" box on the left of the home page [update- now I do... but it seemed to take some time to get listed]

Yep, I find little things I need to change here and there but I have to get around to it.
- The shield in the dark theme. It's set not to display due to the image looking quite horrible with its transparency and shadowing. Who's idea was that anyway?
- The shield link, still have to get around to that.
- Forum entries not appearing quickly enough? My bad. Looks like it's something to do with caching. I'll fix that now.
